Carlos sat at his desk, thinking, mulling over something that he has just been informed of a week ago.

His sister, Rosadina, told him about a new child in the Little Society.

She said he had dark hair, green eyes, tanned skin possibly from playing in the sun too much.

She had asked him why he was there, out of pure curiosity.

He replied that he remembered meeting a ghost in the alley near his home, and didn't remember anything else, to wake up in the town. After some prying, she managed to extract from him how the spirit or ghost had looked like.
